Starting this Wednesday the loot in ICC and TotC 25 will no longer be distributed via open rolls. With some guild member feedback and a late night Officer meeting, it was finally decided that the guild would benefit best if there was a loot council in place.

The Officers in the raid will be a part of this "council" and will hand out loot in an unbiased and fair manner with the aim of strengthening the guild's raids. The officers have a variety of characters and understand what gear each class/spec benefits from. If we are uncertain, we are not afraid to ask.

If you are trying to preserve a stat, such as hit, please inform the officers so they know not to award you with a piece that would cause you to drop below the hit cap.

The exact method of determining who receives the loot is still being finalized, but rest assured that the loot will be handed out based on guild and raid merit.

With this change, the rule of one loot per raid technically has been removed, but a raider will only get a second piece in rare circumstances.

In TotC 25, only the best of gear will be distributed via loot council. Trinkets and Trophies are the most notable items that come to mind.
